Roca is the global brand leader in the bathroom business today. The group now has 65 production centres, and operates in over 135 markets on every continent.

Aiming to identify and satisfy consumer prefernces, Roca offers versatile products which adapt to the habitsof the different markets which it operates. The company has responded to this challenge by restructuring its design department and by creating the new Roca Design Centre, with its headqaurters in Gava (Barcelona), first set up in 2005.

This remodelled design centre, made up of over 125 professionals, was already commissioning projects by Giorgetto Guigaro in th eighties; today, Roca continues to work with architects such as Chipperfield, Herzog & de Meuron (Beijing's National Stadium,The Tate Modern in London, and the Allianz Arena in Munich), and Belen and Rafael Moneo, and with renowned design studios such as Schmidt & Lackner and Bendito Design. Its design management recently won the Design Management Europe Award 2008.
